FlightWatch alerts your Executive Travel Consultant of every flight update starting 24 hours before take-off. Every flight booked with Tripsmarter goes into FlightWatch. Flights are tracked in real-time until the flight lands and passengers deplane. Our weather monitor tracks weather patterns and anticipates delays before they occur, letting us notify a traveler of alternative solutions well before they leave for the airport.

If a delay or cancellation occurs your Executive Travel Consultant immediately notifies the passenger and the passenger’s assistant via email or cell phone. If the status change is significant we immediately book the traveler on the next best alternative, as well as second and third backup options. The traveler is then notified of these choices and we advise on recommended action. Our clients are often onboard their backup flight while other travelers are still standing in line to get help at a ticket counter. At times we are even able to pull travelers off of delayed aircraft and put them on the next flight out, before the other passengers onboard even know about the delay.

First, our superior technology electronically searches 1500+ websites, all published and private fares, consolidator fares, discount contracts, and negotiated fares. Next our Executive Travel Consultant manually quality controls reservations for savings using advanced fare structuring techniques to ensure our clients get the best possible price. Executive Travel Consultants combine manual and automatic fare searches on each and every reservation to ensure that the best fares are found each time.


Additionally, our experience with supplier contracts and T&E expense policy will ensure you are in control of your travel spending. Tripsmarter's exclusive contracts and alternative ticketing sources will provide you with significant discounts that your company volume alone can not secure. We have discounts on most major air, car, and hotel suppliers, and always push to find the solution that is most ideal for you and your company.

Tripsmarter is committed to our travelers’ comfort by implementing SeatWatch on every reservation. With SeatWatch, when a client’s seat does not match their preference exactly at the time a reservation is made, we perform priority upgrade and seat checks both manually and electronically in real-time. These happen from the point of the initial booking up until the flight’s departure. Often seats are upgraded or improved the day of a flight.

 

SeatWatch ensures our clients get the most preferred seats according to their preferences for every flight. During this process your Executive Travel Consultant researches and selects the most preferred seat on the plane using the highly detailed seat  maps and aircraft reviews.

If we do not find a preferred seat with 48 hours of a departure we alert the client to discuss options. Since this program’s inception, none of our clients have been involuntarily stuck in a middle seat.

Upgrade: CONFIRMED

Simplified loyalty program management

 

An upgrade can often make or break a business trip while drastically reducing the cost of premium service travel. This is why an important part of SeatWatch is Upgrade: CONFIRMED, which automatically requests and tracks upgrades at ticketing for all qualified passengers. Travelers enjoy upgrades more often with access to priority waitlists and exclusive upgrade contracts not available online. In addition, our agents are experts at selecting the flights that are upgraded most often. 


When upgrades are confirmed we send an alert to the client with their new Business or First class seat assignments. If, 48 hours before departure a traveler is still waitlisted on a critical flight, we send them an alert, allowing us to make the necessary changes to put them into the Business or First class seat they deserve.

Your Executive Travel Consultant also provides full loyalty program support. This includes upgrades management, mileage award and sponsored award tickets, family travel, check-in and boarding pass delivery, personal travel discount negotiations, and innovative strategies to obtain and keep elite loyalty program status.
