Joshua Ryan
Managing Principal
Joshua entered the travel industry in 2005 and started his first travel company shortly after. Wanting to expand client services and grow into new markets, he founded Tripsmarter in 2018.
Before Tripsmarter Joshua began his career in the financial services industry in 2001. He eventually became a Regional Compliance Manager for a private bank in the San Francisco Bay Area. During his stint in the financial services industry Joshua attended San Diego State University and graduated with a bachelors in Economics in 2007.
Joshua is passionate about creating customized travel solutions for executives. Away from work he enjoys sailing and fitness training.
Dan Russo
Travel Team Manager
Dan started in the travel industry shortly after graduating with his bachelor's degree. He swiftly earned several promotions and became one of the founding members of Tripsmarter in 2018.

Dan now serves at Tripsmarter in a senior management role leading our clinical trials & patient studies travel division. He is also the program manager for several life science companies and venture capital firms. Dan is a problem-solving expert and loves helping travelers navigate travel while overseas.

Outside of Tripsmarter Dan co-owns a boutique fitness center and he enjoys spending time with family and taking trips to the mountains.
Lisa Webb
Operations Manager
Lisa continues to enjoy her 20+ year career in management, accounting, and customer service. In 2015 she started supporting travel executives, and she joined Tripsmarter in 2019. As Operations Manager Lisa directs all aspects of the Tripsmarter operations. She works closely with Travel Managers to ensure client services are seamless and is constantly implementing traveler improvements.
Additionally, Lisa manages billing and accounting functions and is always available to support our sales team. Lisa majored in Computer Science before starting a family and raising two wonderful sons. She is an art lover and enjoys spending her free time working on illustrations as well as hiking.
Gustavo Ryan
Operations Coordinator
Gustavo hails from Brasília where he worked in customer service and government public welfare projects for 3 years. In 2008 he founded an IT support service for small businesses in his community. In 2013 Gustavo sold his IT company and later moved to the United States. Since moving to the USA Gustavo has had leadership roles in hospitality and event planning.
Gustavo joined Tripsmarter in January 2019 and has quickly become an essential team member, spearheading new project opportunities and improving daily operations.
